About Me

I don’t write frequently and I don’t consider myself a particularly good writer. You must be wondering then, why blogging? Here’s why.

Having been debating in parliamentary settings for 5 years I have often found myself discussing pressing world problems, toiling for a perfectly logical explanation to win arguments. While this has made me able to think critically and be more cognizant of how the world works, it has hindered my emotional growth. The need of being “rational” often makes emotions seem far too subjective and irrational to use as a tool in my intellectual arsenal. As a direct consequence, empathetic traits are often compromised without me even realizing it.  However recently, I have been trying to listen, understand and empathize more.

This blog will therefore be a place for me to reflect. I will be writing about my experiences, interactions, and all sorts of random things that interest me with the hope of tracking my intellectual and emotional growth while having fun. This might sound way too ambitious and it actually might be but does it matter until you’re loving what you’re doing?

In all honesty, I don’t know why blogging but I do know it’s going to be fun. I am super stoked!
